A Guide to 2006 Bodybuilding Competitions
![]() |
If you're a bodybuilder seeking to compete at an amateur or professional level, then you may be wondering about 2006 bodybuilding competitions. I'm here to tell you that there are so many of them out there, you may have trouble choosing one!
One great way to find 2006 bodybuilding competitions is to join an organization for bodybuilder. The ABA, or Amateur Bodybuilding Association, is one such organization. This association hosts a plethora of bodybuilding competitions around the country. Some examples include the MCRD Presents: Muscle Madness 2006 in August, The Ms. Fitness World in September, and the Olympia Cup in October. These represent only a few competitions around the country that the ABA will host in 2006.
The INBF, or International Bodybuilding Federation, is yet another organization that hosts many 2006 bodybuilding competitions. The difference between the INBF and the ABA is that the INBF is an international association and has competitions all around the world. In September, there's the Southern Natural Bodybuilding Championships (Pro-Qualifier). In October, you'll find U.S. Forces-Europe Natural Bodybuilding Championships. And in November, there's the Mr. & Ms. Fort Benning and the East Coast Open Bodybuilding Championships. As with the ABA, these competitions represent only a fraction of what's out there.
There are many other bodybuilding competitions out there, and you can learn about them on the Internet and in magazines geared towards bodybuilders, like Ironman or Hardcore Muscle Magazine.
If you're thinking about entering any 2006 bodybuilding competitions, you'll want to make sure you're properly prepared. There are weeks, perhaps even months, of special training you'll need to undergo. Your workout will have to be amped up, and your diet will most likely need to change. You'll have to learn a routine to perfection, and practice it over and over again. You'll need to choose the right music and make sure you're tan and toned perfectly.
2006 bodybuilding competitions are a great way to make your name in the world of bodybuilding. However, if you don't quite feel like you're ready, don't despair. There's always 2007!
